Canary Center

Located in central Riyadh along Makkah Al Mukarramah Road, this mixed-use development combines retail and office functions within a climate-responsive urban form. Ground-floor retail activates the streetscape, while three office levels are arranged to maximize daylight, views, and spatial flexibility. Interconnected green terraces and vertical voids introduce landscape, shading, ventilation, and informal outdoor workspaces throughout the building. A continuous skin of folded perforated metal panels provides solar protection while maintaining visibility and filtered natural light. Through sculptural massing, integrated greenery, and responsive façade design, the project creates a contemporary workplace that balances environmental performance, user wellbeing, and a distinctive urban identity.
